University Affairs Committee (UAC)
The University Affairs Committee advocates for students at a university level. Focusing primarily on the process of effective policy creation and improvement, the UAC strives to improve the student experience at public universities whether it be pertaining to academic or social life for on campus or commuter students.
In the past, projects of the UAC have included formulating the University Roadmap, an advocacy piece highlighting SAM's stance on a wide array of topics from tuition payment plans to gender neutral housing. The UAC also prides itself in being a connector of the different student governments across the state to enhance collaboration and idea sharing.
